What girl does not like to indulge in a day of pampering?
Well I definitely would not say no to the idea of lounging in a hydrotherapy
pool all day and the occasional steam!

Well for my Birthday last year I was a very lucky girl and
was treated to a Spa day. I was whisked away to the K West Hotel and Spa and
enjoyed a day of care free relaxation at this gorgeous location.
Situated in Shepherd’s Bush, it is a short walk from
Shepherd’s Bush underground station, K West Hotel & Spa is tucked away just
enough for it to not be bombarded with people, but just enough to keep the
serene atmosphere any spa should have.
The Hydrotherapy pool is pure bliss, you sit back and relax
on the reclined seating within the pool and are given a water massage which will make your toes curl. Trust me
your legs will feel like jelly afterwards and you could quite happily sit there
all day and take a nap (not recommended though! Hello! You are in water duh!).
But if you don’t want to sit and get a water massage all day
(but come on, why wouldn't you?) you can choose to sit and sweat out all those
toxins in the steam room or sauna. Or just go and lounge in one of the little
heated cubicles situated around the spa where you can actually fall asleep.
But if you really want to add a little kick to your spa day
then you need to brave the snow paradise! A room filled with ice cold snow on
the floor, walls and ceiling which you break off and are supposed to rub on
yourself to stimulate circulation. This is one of London’s first snow rooms, so
it is a definite must.
There is also a range of Spa treatments to choose from which
you can book beforehand or on the day. However I did not book any treatments
because to be honest the Spa itself was more than enough, it was relaxing and
therapeutic and trust me I did not want to leave.

You are not allowed to take your phone into the Spa itself
so I was unable to take pictures (Pictures which are in the post are from the
K-West Spa website). However there are a range of photos on the website as well
as prices on Spa days and treatment packages http://www.k-west.co.uk/k-spa/ .
Happy Spa-ing!
