Madison St Pauls - Food food food!

I am not sure if everyone has realised this yet but I LOVE all things food! So I am always on the lookout for something a little new and different to try. I have been wanting to go to Madison in St Pauls for a long time and when it came time to celebrate a friends birthday I thought "Perfect!."

The weather in London has been beautiful lately and this seemed like the best choice. Situated in One New Change shopping complex on the rooftop terrace, Madison is a great choice if you want good food at a decent price and at a location where you will really appreciate London for all its beauty.

It consists of two sides, you have the Cocktail and Tapas bar which is, well basically exactly what the name says...Cocktails and Tapas (duh?!) it is a selection of light nibbles and a mixture of good cocktails which you can enjoy on the open terrace. One great feature which they had was a huge blow up screen which was showing the tennis. So you could relax on a deck chair whilst watching tv and getting a nice tan in the middle of London.

On the opposite side is the Madison restaurant, which is where I went. The menu is very varied with your steaks, and burgers as well as fish and lobster. For starters we had chicken skewers, king prawns and duck parcels and for mains I opted for a juicy steak and my friend opted for the Monk fish. Seriously I cannot complain at all, the food was magnificent and the service was superb. You really felt as if you were being wined and dined at a 5* restaurant but without having to pay the 5* price.

Another great feature was that within the restaurant there were also pull down projector screens showing the World Cup. I am guessing this is very common but this made the atmosphere of the restaurant really laid back which I personally really liked.

Once finished with dinner all that was left to do was admire the views of London. To be honest I could describe to you how gorgeous it was but it is so much better to just show you, so take a look at the pics (and my attempt of getting a half decent panoramic shot. Go iPhone!)

So that's all folks! I give Madison a full thumbs up and it is definitely worth a trip whether it be for dinner, Tapas, cocktails or to just sit back and enjoy the views.

FYI - I had the exciting opportunity to work with Company Magazine on a shoot a few weeks ago so keep a look out for the Those Two Girls Blog post featuring all the shots and gorgeous fashion which is coming soon!
